Sherwood Island Beach and State Park is 10 min by car at exit 18 of 95. They still sell out of state season pass for around $110. You can use it at any CT state park and beach. Also you can get daily parking there too and it's $15 for out of state vehicles.

This is a very pretty state park, I am pretty sure there is not a fee to get in the park but you should check first
