10th Century Church with amazing wall painting

A quiet country church with a twelfth century doom mural painted on the wall. It is possible to walk from the cottage - it takes about an hour with steep climbs to reach the downland ridge above Rockshaw Road. Just to the east of the church, off Ditchens Lane, is a footpath through into 'Happy Valley' and Farthing Downs, a beautiful green valley for walking, with footpaths and no roads.
