Traditional Mexican Food with Mariachis. Mariachis start later in the evening around 9:00, so if you want to see them, recommend arriving around 8:00 to start dinner.
At Villa María, a massive two-storey restaurant, you can enjoy traditional Mexican food without needing to leave the stylish cosmopolitan area of the town. From the recipes of Mexican casserole, or cazuela, to the well-known caterpillars and the famous fiercely hot dishes, there is an abundance of exciting flavors to explore and enjoy here. Villa María is also praised for its excellent service and its traditional décor. The bar, with its delectable cocktails and traditional live music, also attract locals and tourists alike.

You will enjoy a nice Mexican Restaurant with Live "Mariachis" music, it is close to my appartment, you could get by public transportation or by taxi
To try Mexican gourmet food, get to the Villa Maria. They have pretty much every piece of exotic food cooked nicely in a 100% Mexican environment. Let me warn you that this place is not cheap. However, it is worthy for a special occasion. This is where I have tried the best tequila ever plus the biggest (and most delicious) margaritas I've ever seen.
