Sunrise Grocery is the oldest business in Union County still using its original location. It has been serving these hills since 1920. Sunrise has been in the Clemmons family since 1983. Featured in Southern Living Magazine. You can find local produce and goods in this store which still has it's old timey in the mountains feel.

Produce, jams, jellies, salsa, hoop cheese, boiled peanuts, glass bottled cokes, local pottery, homemade soaps, bath bombs, lip balms, fiber arts, landscape photography, local books and calendars, magnets, tee shirts, and even 2 gas pumps with no credit card slot...need I say more? But I will...stop in at Sunrise for a piece of Lifefire Pottery, handmade by your host, Jared! Owner, Jason is a Blairsville native, an amazing photographer, and an avid hiker. He'll steer you in the direction of a great waterfall or sunrise opportunity and stock you up with peanuts, cokes, and granola bars. This is NOT your ordinary gas station!

Best little country store. Owners are wonderful and knowledgeable about the area. Boiled peanuts are a must try. They have jams, jellies, local honey!

Don't let the name fool you - it's not really a grocery store. The best boiled peanuts and homemade soaps, jams, jellies and pickles in Blairsville! It's in the same area as Brasstown Bald, Helton Creek Falls and Vogel State Park.
