Exciting Escapes is an entertainment and team building company that provides fun Escape Room experiences to teams of Friends, Family and Colleagues alike. Based in Hampshire, it was started in 2016 by brothers David and Peter Gale. Within 3 months of opening their first site in Southampton it was voted on TripAdvisor as the #1 ‘Fun thing to do’ in Southampton. Three months later, it became TripAdvisor’s #1 ‘Fun thing to do’ across the whole of Hampshire! Now with over 3,000 5-star customer reviews (Facebook, Google and TripAdvisor) there are also sites in Basingstoke and Portsmouth and with more expansion planned in 2019! Escape Room experiences are a relatively new activity for the UK, but have been around for 10 years or more across Asia and Eastern Europe. Though the adventures are different in each one, the basic premise is generally the same. You have 60 minutes to take part in a story as a team, to search for clues, uncover secrets, solve puzzles and complete tasks. Success comes from good teamwork, great communication, and a willingness to get involved and have some fun! Over 50,000 people have now played a mission at Exciting Escapes. From corporate team building to school outings, Date nights to Hen and Stag Parties, and ages from 8 to 80. Everyone seems to find something they can enjoy about taking on one of their Escape Room challenges.
