Expect contemporary cooking with Italian and Mediterranean accents at this JW Marriott Grande Lakes establishment. On the menu, small plates, pastas and entrées reign supreme; but rest assured as technique, seasoning and all manner of cooking are spot on, resulting in an enjoyable experience. In fact, these dishes are focused yet unfussy, starting with the bread service that may be tailed by grilled octopus with pecan romesco. Cacio e pepe pasta and roast chicken in parmesan brodo are comfort epitomized; while caramelized carrot cake is an all-out thrill. It's an appealingly updated room with soft, muted colors, a smattering of booths, banquettes and tables, However, all eyes are on the open and gleaming copper kitchen.
