Fell Foot park is nestled at the southern tip of Windermere, and probably has the largest publicly accessible lake frontage anywhere on the lake shore. Try the activities on offer at the National Trust activity centre, or bring your own paddleboard and swimming costume and jump in! If relaxing is more your thing, there is a large area perfect for picnics. Fell Foot gets evening sun until late so is fantastic during Spring and Summer (just no BBQs!).

Fell Foot Park is located about a mile off the Newby Bridge roundabout towards Bowness. The park is owned by the National Trust so you can park for free if you are a member. There are loads of things to do on your visit including watersports, walks, picnics and a children's playground. You can enjoy food from the cafe and buy gifts from the gift shop. There is a busy schedule of events you can join in with which are suitable for different age groups. Fellfoot is a popular place for park runs and other sporting events. Keen stone skimmers will enjoy the stone skimming competition which is held once a year.
