Built early, around the middle of the 19th century, the Chaozhou Assembly Hall is a place where the Chinese community built to worship the Three Generals of the Ma Yuan - a famous general of the Han Dynasty, worshiped as a god to protect people. seafarers ("Phuc Ba" means conquering the storms and waves)
