Our local park, complete with bandstand, tennis courts and lots of open grass to play on. The large museum and art gallery has great exhibitions giving you a perfect introduction to Sheffield's history and culture.

Nice park with bandstand in the middle (sometimes there are bands playing during summer), and you might find people juggling, hula hooping, slacklining and doing other circus skills here when the weather is nice.

It's a lovely park nearby, with fantastic scenery all the year round and wonderful museum which introduces the culture and history of Sheffield.

Great place for a picnic in good weather, or grab a coffee and watch the world go by on one of the benches. There's also a museum within.

Great park with bandstand and ducks. The museum is great for a rainy day, really interactive for kids, we especially love the local history artefacts / displays and videos... my kids love the natural world room. It’s free entry with a donation to the work of the museums service. Highly recommended. Parking is limited, so walk or bus is best. There is a Q Park opposite the children’s hospital (Durham Road) which reliably has spaces, if you can’t find anything on the local roads.
