Yorkshire Dales are an area of particular natural beauty and perfect for walkers. Malham Cove is a large curved limestone formation 0.6 miles north of the village of Malham, North Yorkshire, England. Malham Tarn is a glacial lake near the village of Malham in the Yorkshire Dales, England. The lake is one of only eight upland alkaline lakes in Europe.

All of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is amazing and unique. Do try and get to one of the villages. Grassington is the nearest access sable by car or bus. Malham for its cove and limestone pavement is also a must see place.

Absolutely stunning place to visit, from the most inactive to the seasoned hiker. You will love the Cove, Tarn, Gordale Scar and Janet's Foss. The fight scene between Harry Potter and Voldemort was filmed on top of the Cove's distinctive limestone pavement.
