Omneberget is located in the very heart of the High Coast, near Nordingrå. The trail starts just next to the parking lot by the beach. Follow the sign Omneberget and look for the blue dots that will lead you to the top. Going up the mountain is quite steep, but no climbing is needed. I would say the hike is possible for a child from the age of 5-6 years. The climb takes about 30 minutes. Don’t miss the “sheep shelter” just before the summit. It’s fascinating. Of course the view from the top is magnificent and you will find a cabin and a table there for your picnic. Going down I would recommend to choose the easier path. You will see the sign indicating which way to go. It’s a bit longer but less challenging. Down by the parking area there is a lovely beach with plenty of fun for the little ones. Everything is free of charge, but please support the community initiative if you can by transferring an amount by Swish.
