Ideally situated at the bottom of the steps to the estuary overlooking where the passenger boat to Salcombe stops. Take out coffee, cake and snacks whilst watching the world go by.

Just around the corner from Smalls, this branch of the local Venus chain is takeaway only but with the beach on the doorstep who needs to eat-in? Here you find quality local pasties, baguettes, ice creams, coffee and cream teas as well as buckets, spades and beach games to keep the kids entertained.

The Venus Company now has three cafés, takeaways and shops in Devon and two in Cornwall, however, they all share the same philosophy of serving the best, locally sourced ingredients with many of its dishes coming from the nearby land or sea. A new site is planned in Torbay in 2021.
