Attached to the Indianapolis Art Museum - so you have a plan come rain or come shine. Entry is free to the 100 Acres I believe.
This is a park turned sculpture garden that has something for everyone. Great for kids and adults alike to explore.
Once you set foot on 100 acres property it is like you aren't downtown anymore. The towpath goes all the way to Broadripple, at least 6 miles down. There are also trails throughout the park.
Site-specific contemporary art abounds, along with a 35-acre lake and the largest native pollinator meadow in Indianapolis. Open from dawn to dusk every day and always free, Fairbanks Park is the perfect place to enjoy art and nature simultaneously.
