I normally don't want to recommend chain restaurants but this location is a gem. Tucked away on the side streets there is an outside quaint little courtyard and inside you are literally right beside the river to see the ducks and the punts going past.

Another old favourite. Why is this one special? Because it is bang next to the River Stour, so make sure you get a table by the window, especially in the summer. Another incredible historic building.
