There is a beautiful walk along the riverbank near Wren's Nest, out to the old lighthouse at Crookhaven and back along Culburra beach

Aside from the keepers cottages at South Solitary Island, this is probably the most endangered lighthouse in New South Wales and should be of great concern to lighthouse enthusiasts and the community at large. The original lighthouse was constructed of timber in 1882 and located as part of the Shoalhaven Signal Station on the beach 200 metres to the west of the current lighthouse. The apparatus had been a brass lantern.

An easy walk to the 100+ year old lighthouse. Historical Marine Rescue building perched on the headland with a million dollar view along Seven Mile Beach stretching to Geroa and Gerringong. Twelve stately carved poles by Noel Wellington, a local indigenous artist, depicting the sea life of the area.
