North of the villa about 55 minutes drive is Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) which is an active volcano located in Batur village. It is 1,717m above sea level can be summited by fit hikers in around 2 hours. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise from the top of the volcano and spectacular scenery along the way. It’s an amazing once in a lifetime experience for the most amazing sunrise hike. * Please note that this tour leaves the villa very early in the morning (2.00am) but is so worth it!
