Visit a 13th century tower built by the knights. While there are no decorations it is worth viewing and climbing on top of the roof! Only a donation is required.

Għajn Tuffieħa (Maltese for ‘Apple’s Eye’, also known as Riviera) is located on the north-west coast of Malta, behind a small village called Manikata. Unlike nearby Golden Bay, Għajn Tuffieħa Bay is less accessible but almost looks untouched by man, with natural beauty all around you. The beach itself is smaller than that of Golden Bay, which means during peak season it does get a little busy at times. It’s natural beauty has attracted a number of visitors who are visiting this place time to time again. Soak up the sun on sandy shores or go on a trek up its surrounding hills to enjoy stunning views! You could hike the surrounding areas of Ghajn Tuffieha, take a dip in the sea and also enjoy a picnic whilst the sun sets.

Free Sandy Beach with lifeguard presence. I love it in summer but even more in winter for surf boarding. Beach equipment rentals available on the beach. Bus 223 gets you there.
