Ichibakoji of Kitaoji Vivre branch is in Vivre mall in Kitaoji metro station so may be convenient when you come back from sightseeing in a day, have dinner here, and buy some stuff in the big supermarket in the mall before picking up your bicycle at the station's parking slot to go back home. This particular branch boasts quality red (and healthier than marbled) beef along with obanzai Kyoto homemade cuisine. I visited this place with my foreign guests of different group compositions a number of time and ALL were very much satisfied with the food quality, the atmosphere, and the service. It is not too expensive either - we never go beyond 4000 - 5000 yen per person even we drink wines and beers. Open 11:00 - 22:30. You may try lunch at 1000 - 1500 yen first.
