Excellent half day trip, Bird Museum , located near Swan Falls Dam , up river from Cabin

A bit of a drive for an epic view of the snake river canyon, information on the historic dam, and a great place to catch a sunset! There is also some great bird watching here. The raptors love to soar along the canyon rim. This spot is just past Initial Point (see hiking), so they are great to do together.
