This is on the higher end of the budget scale, but a lovely restaurant and wine bar for a special occasion.

See the famous Reading Lion. It's a nice park to have lunch in.

A fine french dining restaurant a short walk from home. Lunchtime specials and close to the park. A little more pricey for a special meal.
