Hendersonville is a quaint town just south of Asheville. Visiting in the fall? Check out the apple orchards nearby. Visiting in the spring or summer? There are tons of gorgeous hikes and waterfalls to check out!

A small town America feel with independent shops and restaurants. Check the Hendo website for local happenings like festivals, markets, live music and car shows. There’s a children’s museum and aquarium, as well! Hospice Home Store is my favorite thrift store in town, with McFarland’s bakery on the next block over.

Stroll down Main Street and visit the Mast General Store, McFarlans Bakery, Kilwins Ice Cream, Dancing Bear Toys, Wag Pet Boutique & a variety of clothing boutiques, antique stores & art galleries. Things to do include a Pinball Museum, Hands On! Children's Museum and many events and festivals. Dine al fresco at one of the many restaurants after your busy day.
