Llyod park at joe pool lake is one of my favorite places to take the family. Not only do they have a huge beach area with tons of sand, volley ball court, tables and gazebos, but its so very clean. There's no trash laying around and people clean up after themselves very well. They have a roped off swimming area where it's shallow enough for kids but good for adults too. For an all day pass it's only $10 and it's worth it! You can also rent spots for camping or parties. Sitting back on the sand while kids are happily playing makes for a great day. Bring a cooler of drinks and don't forget your sunscreen. Guaranteed a great day!
