Clapham Common is your local high street, with lots of restaurants, bars, a big park and a cinema. I would recommend Minnow for brunch and No.32 for lunch/dinner. Megan's 'The Terrace' is also a get little restaurant with lovely brunch!
Clapham is a short bus ride away and has something for everyone, a great cinema, markets, restaurants and coffee spots. The Common itself is vast and is a popular place to practice sports or just hang out.
Grab a coffee, and take a stroll through this beautiful park. There is something for everyone in this park, and always different things going on. You can stop by the pond and feed the ducks, check out the skaters at the skate park, there is even a splash park for the kiddies in the summer. Looking for something a little more cultured, wander to the bandstand in the middle of the park, where you will find a hid away little cafe, and live music on the weekends during the summer! Heading out for a jog? Jog out to the Bandstand and back from the property and you will be about 5km!

Short bus ride away - great in the summer or a place to breathe surrounded by green open space. It is 220 acres (89 hectares) of green space, with three ponds and a Victorian bandstand.
Clapham Common is at the end of our road and is absolutely beautiful. There are water areas/fountains in the summer. If it's the weekend, try 'Mud Club' at the Spinney on a Saturday morning. It's exactly what it says on the tin - mud! It's £5 per child and perfect for kids who can walk and upwards. Mud, painting, and general outdoor fun. Also a great spot to meet other families.
