Best 2 hours before low tide. Great place for a picnic. In the summer, there are usually free concerts on Monday at 7.
Beautiful spot five minutes down the road to go for a picnic or have a nice walk around to look at the reversing falls. Scenic and not too busy.
HQ of the Frenchman's Bay Conservancy. They offer free interpretive tours for kids, lectures, and occasional outdoor concerts
