Great place to walk around on a beautiful day. Also, there are places where you can rent bicycles, pedal boats, and kayaks.

The beautiful and historic Lachine canal is the perfect way to spend a few hours in the summer. Walk or rent a BIXI bike to wander along the canal. Cycle the canal East and within 15 minutes you will be in the very popular and touristy Old Port.

The perfect place to go for a walk, run, bike ride or picnic. We're just a 10 minute walk away from the canal and you can take it all the way to the old port to enjoy some site seeing.

The 14.5 km canal which passes through the Island of Montreal’s southwest is called Lachine Canal. Lachine is considered to be the gateway to a network of canals which link the Atlantic Ocean to the heart of the North American continent and is considered a National Historic Site.
