Shopping, shopping,. shopping - main stream shops- for phone cards, H&M, drugstores, clothes etc. Cross the Dam Square and it becomes the Kalverstraat, and gets a little more chic.

From Central Station, all the way to Rembrandtplein you can walk over De Nieuwendijk, Dam Square and Kalverstraat. 1 mile of a great variarity of shops.
