In Costa da Caparica there are amazing beaches where you can surf at any time of the year. Name of same beaches: Praia do Rei, Praia da Riviera, Praia da Charneca... Try having a go at surfing! It is approximately 13,6 km from Casa do Restelo.

Costa de Caparica is Lisbon's south side. But most importantly is where a continuous stretch of 25 kms of sandy beaches start from where the river meets the ocean... You can get there by boat service that leaves every hour from Belem neighbourhood and goes to Trafaria, with is 25 min walk to the first beach from there. Or you can catch a Bus that will take you directly to the Beaches in Costa de Caparica. Whatever your choice, beach always wins in my book. Enjoy the Sun!
