Everyone goes to Second Beach, but Third Beach is better. More secluded. Fewer people. And there's still a spot to buy the kids an ice cream.

This is a nice swimming and sunning beach, busy in the summer but better access to parking. Right inside the park, so beautiful setting. Concession stand. Stairs down to beach, or there is a ramp off the north side of the concession as well. In the summer on weeknights sometimes there is drumming after 6 pm, which some like and some don't. For quiet, go during the daytime instead.
