A City of Charlevoix landmark overlooking the channel that connects Lake Michigan to Lake Charlevoix. Enjoy a fine meal while watching the boats pass through the channel. if you are there long enough you will see the famous lift bridge open ever half hour.

This is one of the most iconic places to both eat and capture the ambiance of what makes Charlevoix so distinctly beautiful and different from the rest of Michigan.

This restaurant is one of Earl Young’s creations! The views from nearly every table are wonderful, and during the summer months, outdoor deck seating is available on Pine River Channel. The drawbridge goes up every 30 minutes, so there are plenty of boats (and people) to watch.
