The Hortus Botanicus Lovaniensis is the oldest botanical garden of Belgium, dating from 1738. It is situated in the centre of Leuven and measures 2,2 ha.

If you need some tranquillity, go for a walk in the botanical garden, it's an amazing place! They have a lot of different plants and trees, it's such a romantic place to go -, or just to sit on a bench and enjoy the sight. There're also tables and chairs to eat your lunch.
