Between 1884 and 1924 nearly 300,000 Italian immigrants moved to New Orleans. Irene's, a classic upscale Italian restaurant, serves up some of the best Sicilian food in the city. Try their Duck St. Phillip, one of the best duck dishes in town.

It's been famous for years, but the new location is way better. It's a bit of a walk from Frenchmen street but worth it, particularly if you're going to indulge in bourbon street. Pricey but excellent. Outdoor Courtyard seating available. And the bar is beautiful, with proper seating available and a piano player on most nights.

One of the most popular and beloved restaurants by locals. Great italian cuisine. Best all around Fish and Seafood, Meat and Fowl. You won't be disappointed!
