Just a 13 minute drive away, Deer Lake Park offers nice, flat walking trails with scenic views of wildlife and the city. The trails are accessible all year and is perfect for an afternoon stroll.

Deer Lake is absolutely beautiful. It's a go-to place when you're visiting Burnaby. They have a wonderful trail for you to walk or bike ride. We're about a 10min walk from where we are.

Beautiful lake... walk the trail. Rent a canoe. Often have concerts in the park.

Scenic picnic areas & lakeside trails leading to the Burnaby Art Gallery & other attractions. Site also tends to host a lot of concerts. There's kayaking and pedalboating available which is fun and inexpensive way to spend a weekend afternoon.
