A Mosque and a Library! This mosque is located in the upscale district of Anfa. Initially a small mosque was built as an attachment to the summer home of the Prince in 1979. Later on this huge structure was constructed. The current mosque can accommodate around 5,000 worshippers. The basic purpose of a mosque in Islam is to provide a religious and cultural complex. I was very impressed by the library attached to this mosque. It is dedicated to Islamic education and research. The decorations in the mosque are truly exquisite. Non-Muslims are not allowed to enter this mosque.
