Great local walk ideal for groups and familes

For a trip a little further take the road out of Otley towards Fewston Reservoir there is a lovely 3.5 mile loop round the reservoir or for those looking for more a 7 mile route add on a loop around Swinsty reservoir to work up an appetite!

Popular walk around one or two reservoirs. Plenty space for dogs to run around. Beautiful though does get busy.

In the middle of the Washburn Valley in the south of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Fewston Reservoir offers a number of relaxing paths along the side of the water and through the woods. The walks vary from 1/4 mile to 6 miles in length. Some of the walks are shared with the sister reservoir of Swinsty. LS21 2NY Free parking
