81301 is a local roastery and coffeehouse with great coffee and nice ambiance. They also have breakfast burritos and baked treats. It's super close to the Riverhouse, just up the road on Main St.

When I came to Durango more than five years ago, I sold the coffee roasting business I started in Denver way back in 2006. 81301 is my coffee shop of choice - they have the best roasting in town (by far,) great pour-over coffee and espresso drinks, and a super friendly staff. It is a bit out of the way, being on the north end of town, but I guarantee it will be the best coffee you can get here in Southwestern Colorado.
