This is the largest supermarket in Lancaster city centre, there are lots of smaller convenience shops in the city plus a local market that takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Sainsbury's - all your grocery needs! Just a short hop away along the river.... but if you drive you'll have to go right round the one way system again!

Open from 8am to 10pm Monday-Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday. For those new to the UK, Sainsbury's tends to sell quality food at reasonable prices.

Supermarket - just five to ten minutes walk away (five downhill, empty handed.....longer returning uphill, laden!!)
